EmJay

For schools, universities, and service-learning programs

Verified service hours,
without the paperwork.

EmJay tracks student volunteer hours with GPS verification. No more signature sheets to chase, no more spreadsheets to reconcile, no more guessing which hours were really earned.

How it works

1

Add your sites

Set the food banks, hospitals, animal shelters, and tutoring programs your students serve at. Each site has a geofence — a radius around its real-world location.

2

Students clock in on their phone

When a student arrives at an approved site, they tap to clock in. EmJay confirms they're physically there and starts the timer. Background GPS samples build a continuous audit trail.

3

Hours verify themselves

On clock-out, EmJay reviews the GPS trail. Sessions that look clean are auto-approved. Anything off — left the site early, spoofed location, weak signal — is flagged for the coordinator to review with one tap.

Why EmJay

Built for the coordinator who's drowning

You shouldn't be the bottleneck for hundreds of students' service-hour requirements. EmJay handles roster imports, automatic verification, and one-click bulk approvals so you spend time on the students who actually need attention.

Audit-ready, by design

Every hour has a paper trail: GPS samples, timestamps, who approved it, when. If a parent or accreditation reviewer asks how you know a student really volunteered, you have an answer.

Respects students

Location tracking only happens during an active volunteer session. The app stops sampling the moment they clock out. No background surveillance, no data sold to advertisers, ever.

Bilingual from day one

Service-hour programs serve students and families with diverse language backgrounds. EmJay is designed to work in English and Spanish so no one is left out.
